Jeff Bucknum is a professional race car driver and driving instructor expert who has raced around the world from go-karts to IndyCars and currently he races in Sports Cars!  He began his racing career in go-karts just after high school with the help of his father Ronnie Bucknum who was a famous Formula One, IndyCar and Sports Car race driver in the 60’s and 70’s.   After winning the Go-Kart Championship in his first year, Jeff went on to race cars in the Skip Barber Formula Ford Racing Series on the West Coast.   He soon worked his way up the racing ladder and found his way into IndyCars and Sports Cars. He has achieved many personal goals by racing at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, 24 Hours of Daytona, the Indy 500 and winning the 12 Hours of Sebring.  Jeff is currently racing the Camaro in the Grand-Am Continental Tire Sport Car Challenge Series. He set his goals on racing the Camaro ever since it was announced the 5th Generation Camaro was coming out. He is so excited about racing the Camaro he plans to race the Camaro for the remainder of his racing career.

Ran the full CTSCC season with Stevenson Motorsports in a Camaro GS.R
Two Pole Positions (Mid-Ohio and Miller Motorsports Park)

8Th Place finish in the Championship 

2009-Grand-Am Rolex Series
Ran the 24 hrs of Daytona with Stevenson Motorsports in a GT/Pontiac GXP.R 

2008-Grand-Am Rolex Series
Ran for Stevenson Motorsports at the Daytona 250 in a GT/Corvette

2006-Indy Racing League
Ran for Hemelgarn Racing at the Indy 500 Joined AJ Foyt Racing mid-season and ran the last 6 races of the season. 

2005 – American Le Mans Series
Joined Miracle Motorsports
Won first race, 12 Hours of Sebring
Won three races and led in every event that season

2005 – Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona

2005 – Indy Racing League
Ran four races including the Indy 500 

2002 - 2004 American Le Mans Series
Team Bucknum Racing Team included Jeff Bucknum, Bryan Willman and Chris McMurry Won three races in a Pilbeam P2 prototype Ran in the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2003. 

1999 - Star Mazda
Formed Team Bucknum Racing with friend Bryan Willman - one of the most successful Star Mazda Race Teams in history. His driving took a back seat as he headed the organization, but took time to test cars in Formula Mazda.

Finished 2nd in the Championship. Finished on the podium in almost every race of the season with multiple wins.

1996 - Barber Dodge Pro Series & Testing for Indy Lights team  

1995 - Barber Dodge Pro Series
Qualified on the front row - and narrowly missed a podium - in his first race. Led wire to wire at Mid Ohio 

1993 / 1994 - Skip Barber Western Championships
Won several races - 2nd place in the 1994 Championship

1993 - Skip Barber three day racing school at Sears Point International Raceway
1990 – 1992 Karting
Raced at the Santa Maria Karting Track (SMKA) and other Karting Tracks in California Won the SMKA 1992 Yamaha KT100 Karting Championship. Won over 50% of Kart races entered.
